i hope everyone's having a quality holiday so far! my pa's computer is driving me nuts, but i guess that's to be expected a little.

i'm sure my christmas spirit will reinflate itself at some point between now and the 25th but damn if these two and a half minutes didn't completely kill it for me while simultaneously destroying my hope for this generation. sorry to get all grumpy old man about this, but i just saw the "jersey shore" promo for the first time today too, so try and explain how that and this shouldn't make me think twice about procreating.

so, the xmas mix i posted up a couple of days ago was great and all, but about a quarter of it was pillaged from a couple of mixes i found by this guy otis fodder, and a couple of days ago wfmu made three discs of his holiday oddities available on their blog.

i can almost entirely one hundred percent guarantee that from those three discs you can whittle away the songs you're not that into and make a handy dandy single disc set of holiday joy that you will cherish for many christmases to come.

last year i took a bunch of time and made what i think was a really good left-field mix of christmas oddities and slightly twisted traditionals. this year though, i've got nothing. too much time spent working and not enough functional ac adapters for my computers what store my musics has left me unable to display my deep love of weird yuletide related music.

in lieu of a new collection of songs, here's the mix i made last year since a lot of you haven't heard it in at most a year, if ever. ENJOY!
