man oh man, it's been a long time coming, but indeed, that day is here. back at the beginning of this nonsensical and increasingly neglected blog, i had intended on showcasing some of the musical oddities that have fond their way to me in recent years. somewhere along the line, happily, our posts started to veer so very far into the star wars nerdery. now, i am pleased to align those two ideals and present a mix i picked up randomly from turntablelab and have just now gotten my hands back on.

so, i broke down, went back on my word to klaus, and ended up posting this not entirely awesome thing about the adidas star wars shoes. the bulk of these things look pretty pukey-like, but i can see myself riding for the rogue leader ones, and holding back on ultimate judgement until they holler at a special jek porkins edition.
seeing darth vader do a little tap dance routine is one of those "can never be unseen" sort of images, but the stormtrooper that acts as a chaser to that stiff shot of ugh more than compensates.

on some long stretch of a saturday in the not too distant future i'm gonna drink my way through this as well as the following two episodes as a means of saying good bye to them forever, after which i will disavow their existence until the end of time.
a friend of mine pointed out that a lot of people are saying that the convenience store dude was on pretty obviously on ketamine, and having watched a few youtube videos of people on ketamine, i definitely think this was the case. i'll let y'all do your own super-sleuthing on youtube, but dang if finding this little almost completely unrelated video totally made my night.

i've been hanging on to a ton of awesome star wars stuff for a while now, and i think a week from now is gonna be straight up nothing but star wars week.
