how the hell did i miss this movie in theaters? it popped up at four star a while back and i was all "new jarmusch that i didn't hear about till now? whatever, i'll get around to watching it later." what was wrong with me? seriously... this is so over the top sexy awesome gorgeous. a total eye fuck of a movie.

also, on a somewhat related "movies that came out this year that i'm only now getting around to checking out" note: the fuck was up with everyone talking shit about adventureland? it was marketed as a comedy, which was a terrible idea, but once you get past the fact that it's not gonna be all up in your face with some chuckles, it becomes a quaint little study of this kids coming of age summer.
