the bands ui and stereolab collaborated ten years ago and put out an ep that basically consisted of four different versions of st. elmo's fire, which was the track that kept getting the needledrop when i got my copy of another green world home from the record shop.



this is what happens when a bunch of sound nerds (and the new yorker's resident music overthinker on MOOG NOISES) get together to pay homage to the king of all sound nerds, ENO, who i clumsily wrote about back when pickles dickles was in its infancy.
